Langeberg

The Langeberg Local Municipality serves the towns of Ashton, Robertson, Montagu, Bonnievale and McGregor in the picturesque Breede River Valley/Klein Karoo area, where people still live close to nature. With majestic mountains on the one side and the ever-flowing Breede River on the other, the Langeberg area is a paradise for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts. The Langeberg area is one of the largest wine-producing regions in South Africa. The area may be best known for its wine, but the variety of attractions and activities combined with spectacular scenery and the relaxed hospitality ensure visitors an unforgettable stay.

Swellendam

Swellendam Local Municipality is located in the Western Cape province of South Africa. The following towns fall within its boundaries: Barrydale, Buffeljagsrivier, Infanta, Malagas, Suurbraak and Swellendam.

Cape Agulhas

Cape Agulhas Local Municipality is the southernmost local municipality in Africa.Its coastline is surrounded by the Atlantic and Indian oceans which meet at the most southern town in Africa, named L�Agulhas. �The geographical area consists of approximately 2 411 km�. �The municipality falls within the municipal district of the Overberg.

The area includes a number of big rural areas, as well as the following towns: Bredasdorp, Napier, Waenhuiskrans/Arniston (which is probably the only town in South Africa with two acknowledged names), �Struisbaai, and L�Agulhas, which is the most southern town in Africa. �This legendary point of Africa is surrounded by both the warm Indian and the cold Atlantic oceans that meet at the most southern point. �The area also includes Suiderstrand and Elim, which is a historical Moravian missionary station and world heritage site.

Makana

The Makana Local Municipality is located in the Eastern Cape province and forms part of the Cacadu District Municipality, which includes the Camdeboo, Blue Crane Route, Ikwezi, Baviaans, Sunday�s River Valley, Ndlambe, Kouga, Kou-Kamma, and Makana local municipalities. The MakanaLocal Municipality is situated almost in the middle of Port Elizabeth (to the east) and East London (to the west) on the N2 highway. (www.ru.ac.za).

Sundays River Valley
