Consumer inflation cools further in October
The consumer price index (CPI) increased by 2,8% in the 12 months to October 2024. This represents a sharp decline from 3,8% recorded in September. Annual consumer inflation cooled for a fourth consecutive month, easing to 3,8% in September from 4,4% in August. This is the lowest inflation print since March 2021, when the rate was 3,2%.
