Non-agricultural formal employment decreases by a small margin in the second quarter

The number of employees in the formal non-agricultural sector of the South African economy decreased from an estimated 8 945 000 in March 2015 to an estimated 8 944 000 in June 2015.This reflected a quarterly decrease of 1 000 employees. George Local Municipality forms part of the Eden District Municipality and is situated in the middle of Knysna, Oudtshoorn, Mossel Bay and Hessequa Local Municipalities. Beaufort West

Beaufort West Local Municipality is located in the Western Cape Province of South Africa, and forms part of the Central Karoo District Municipality.

On 03 February 1837, a proclamation appeared in the Government Gazette stating that Beaufort had been granted municipal government, and thus it became the first municipality in South Africa.To avoid confusion with Fort Beaufort and Port Beaufort, the name Beaufort was changed to Beaufort West in the 1860s (www.beaufortwestmun.co.za).
