Non-agricultural formal employment decreases by a small margin in the second quarter

The number of employees in the formal non-agricultural sector of the South African economy decreased from an estimated 8 945 000 in March 2015 to an estimated 8 944 000 in June 2015.This reflected a quarterly decrease of 1 000 employees. Thaba Chweu

Thaba Chweu Local Municipality is one of the four municipalities of the Ehlanzeni District Municipality of Mpumalanga. The municipality is located on the far north-eastern part of the district. It shares its northern boundaries with Limpopo. The municipality is on the Lowveld escarpment of Mpumalanga, with an average elevation of 1400 m above sea level and altitudes varying from 600 to 2100 m.

Mbombela

Mbombela Local Municipality (Swati: A lot of people together in a small space) is located in the Ehlanzeni District Municipality, Mpumalanga Province. The municipality was formed in 2000 by the merger of Hazyview, Nelspruit and White River Local Councils. The municipality is situated in the north eastern part of South Africa within the Lowveld sub region of the Mpumalanga Province.

Umjindi

Umjindi Local Municipality is situated in the south-eastern part of Mpumalanga, on the escarpment. The municipal area forms part of the Ehlanzeni District Municipality together with Nkomazi Local Municipality, Thaba Chweu Local Municipality, Mbombela Local Municipality and Bushbuckridge Local Municipality. The only town in the area is Barberton. Neighbouring municipal areas within Mpumalanga are Mbombela, Albert Luthuli and Nkomazi Local Municipalities. The neighboring country bordering the municipality is Swaziland (www.umijindi.gov.za).

Nkomazi

The Nkomazi Local Municipality is located in the eastern part of the Ehlanzeni District Municipality of the Mpumalanga Province. The municipality is strategically placed between Swaziland (north of Swaziland) and Mozambique (east of Mozambique). It is linked with Swaziland by two provincial roads and with Mozambique by a railway line and the main national road (N4), which forms the Maputo Corridor.
The Nkomazi Municipality is bounded by the Mozambique to the east, Swaziland to the south, Kruger National Park to the north, Umjindi Local Municipality to the south west and Mbombela Local Municipality from the northwest to west. The main urban centres are Louws Creek; Kaapmuiden; Malelane, Hectorspruit, Marloth Park, Komatipoort, KaMhlushwa, Tonga and KaMaqhekeza.

Bushbuckridge

Bushbuckridge Local Municipality is one of the five constituents of Ehlanzeni District Municipality in Mpumalanga, and is bounded by Kruger National Park in the east and Mbombela in the South. It also forms part of the Kruger to Canyon Biosphere. The Municipal area provides a link to Limpopo Province and can therefore be called the gateway to the major tourism attraction points in Mpumalanga and the eastern part of the Limpopo Province. Bushbuckridge Local Municipality consists of 135 settlements and is divided into 34 wards. (www.nra.co.za)
