Reweighting and rebasing of the producer price index

19 February 2021 The producer price indices (PPIs) for January 2021 will reflect updates to the basket and weights, and will be rebased to December 2020 = 100. The annual rate of consumer inflation was 3,2% in January, slightly up from December’s reading of 3,1%.
