Umvoti

Named after the Umvoti river (Wikipedia), the Umvoti Local Municipality is one of four municipalities in the Umzinyathi District Municipality, KwaZulu-Natal. The municipality is situated along the eastern boarder of Umzinyathi District, about 65 km from Dundee and approximately 70 km from Pietermaritzburg. It covers an area of 2�516 km� (Wikipedia) and is well served by provincial and regional roads, easily accessible from Pietermaritzburg, the coast, the Drakensberg, and the battlefields route.
