Endumeni

Situated in the Umzinyathi District Municipality in the north-western part of KwaZulu-Natal, Endumeni Local Municipality is home to a population that is predominantly urban, with only 16,8% living in non-urban areas. The towns of Dundee, Glencoe and Wasbank house most of the urban population of Endumeni. Wasbank is located at the foot of the Indumeni mountain, an inactive volcano.

Located in the Umzinyathi District Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal, Msinga Local Municipality comprises a rural-based subsistence economy with cultural heritage areas that attract some tourists, but that still need to be substantially developed. Owing to its rugged terrain, Msinga�s population is relatively dispersed. Where services exist, they are concentrated along road infrastructure and water sources such as the Tugela River. Big Five False Bay Municipality is located is a municipality under Umkhanyakude District Municipality. �It is located in the northern part of KwaZulu-Natal province and covers approximately 1191km� of Umkhanyakude Disrict Municipality. �The Municipality has a population of 35 258, the smallest population within the Umkhanyakude District Municipality.
