Statistician-General to release results of Survey of Activities of Young People

The Statistician-General of South Africa, Dr Pali Lehohla, will release the Survey of Activities of Young People, 2015 report at media briefing to be held on Thursday, 16 March 2017 in Pretoria.

The Survey of Activities of Young People (SAYP) focuses on activities of young people aged 7–17 years. The survey covers involvement of children in market production activities, production for own final consumption, household chores as well as activities that children engaged in at school. The survey will also report on Child Labour.

The media briefing will be held as follows:
