Statistician-General to release the results of the Governance, Public Safety and Justice Survey (GPSJS) 2023/24, Victims of Crime Report

The Statistician-General of South Africa, Mr Risenga Maluleke, will release the results of the Victims of Crime report from the Governance, Public Safety and Justice Survey (GPSJS) 2023/24 at a media briefing to be held on Tuesday, 27 August 2024 in Tshwane.

The report provides information about the dynamics of crime from the perspective of household and individual victims of crime as well as public perceptions of crime and the individual’s feelings of safety. The report will also include, housebreaking, home robbery, assault and theft of personal property amongst others.
