Reports of crime have become a common issue in today’s society. According to the Victim Support organisation, crime is “a deliberate act that causes physical or psychological harm, damage to or loss of property, and is against the law.” This includes acts such as murder, car theft, resisting arrest, possession or dealing of illegal drugs, public nudity, drunk driving, bank
robbery, etc. Nearly everyone will have a personal experience of a crime at some point in their lives because it affects people from all backgrounds, locations and ages.
