Post and telecommunications industry

MEDIA ADVISORY 07 September 2021

The Statistician-General of South Africa, Mr Risenga Maluleke, will release the results of the post and telecommunication industry, 2019 on Thursday, 09 September 2021 at a virtual media briefing to be held in Pretoria.

The report provides details of income generated by the industry in the provision of postal and courier services and telecommunications such as data, internet and call services. The findings will also provide the industry’s contribution to employment creation and its employment costs.
