Quarterly Labour Force Survey (Q2: 2020) postponement

The results of the Quarterly Labour Force Survey (QLFS) for the 2nd quarter of 2020 were scheduled for release on 11 August 2020. However, given the fact that Stats SA collected Quarterly Labour Force (QLFS) data using Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) for the first time in the 2nd quarter of 2020, additional data confrontation and analysis needs to be done based on historical data before the Q2 2020 data can be published. There will, therefore, be a delay in the release of QLFS quarter 2 2020 results. The new release date will be communicated as soon as it is finalised.
