Stats SA donates to previously disadvantaged schools in Eastern Cape

Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) will on Friday 25 January, donate computers to previously disadvantaged schools in the Eastern Cape. Learners from Solomon Mahlangu Secondary and Sakhisizwe High school will benefit from the donation which is in line with the call to increasing access and the use of technology at education institutions. The computers will be installed with statistical programmes to increase statistics literacy amongst learners, as the organisation gears itself towards counting the population in the upcoming census in 2021. The donation is in line with the Asset Management Policy of the organisation.
