Key findings: Report-50-11-01 - Building Statistics, 2015
The value of buildings reported as completed to municipalities in the monthly and annual surveys increased by 9,1% from R60 374,3 million in 2014 to R65 850,9 million in 2015. Increases were reported for residential buildings (16,9% or R5 529,9 million) and additions and alterations (2,7% or R284,6 million). Non-residential buildings decreased by 2,0% (-R337,9 million).
