Key findings: Report-50-11-01 - Building Statistics, 2014
The value of buildings reported as completed to municipalities decreased by 1,7% from R61 448,4 million in 2013 to R60 374,3 million in 2014. Additions and alterations decreased by 20,8% (-R2 798,3 million). Increases were reported for non-residential buildings (3,9% or R629,8 million) and residential buildings (3,5% or R1 094,4 million).
