Key findings: Report-50-11-01 - Building Statistics, 2012
The value of buildings reported as completed to municipalities increased by 5,4% from R49 775,1 million in 2011 to R52 472,2 million in 2012. Two of the three major categories reported increases, namely residential buildings (8,0% or R2 067,3 million) and non-residential buildings (14,0% or R1 609,8 million).
