Key findings: Report-50-11-01 - Building Statistics, 2011
The value of buildings reported as completed to municipalities in the monthly and annual surveys decreased by 2,8% from R51 193,4 million in 2010 to R49 775,1 million in 2011. Two of the three major categories reported decreases, namely non-residential buildings (-8,9% or –R1 125,8 million) and additions and alterations (-2,9% or –R371,3 million).
