IMPROVING LIVES THROUGH DATA ECOSYSTEMS

The value of buildings reported as completed to municipalities in the monthly and annual surveys increased by 11,6% from R56 522,9 million in 2007 to R63 071,2 million in 2008. Increases were reported for all major categories, i.e. non-residential buildings (33,8% or R4 145,9 million), additions and alterations (21,8% or R2 050,0 million) and residential buildings (1,0% or R352,3 million).
