IMPROVING LIVES THROUGH DATA ECOSYSTEMS

The value of buildings reported as completed to municipalities in the monthly and annual surveys increased by 24,6% from R44 386,3 million in 2006 to R55 317,0 million in 2007. Increases were reported for all major categories, i.e. non-residential buildings (62,7% or R4 254,9 million), additions and alterations (18,4% or R1 460,3 million) and residential buildings (17,6% or R5 215,5 million).
