IMPROVING LIVES THROUGH DATA ECOSYSTEMS

The value of buildings reported as completed to municipalities in the monthly and annual surveys increased by 30,0% from R34 153,4 million in 2005 to R44 386,3 million in 2006.
Increases were reported for all major categories, i.e. additions and alterations (45,1% or R2 469,1 million), non-residential buildings (44,7% or R2 097,6 million) and residential buildings (23,6% or R5 666,3 million).
