Statement of Sources and Uses of Cash of provincial government

The net change in the stock of cash from the provincial government amounted to an increase of R2 395 million for the 2004/2005 fiscal year.

The major contributors to the amount of R2 395 million of net change in the stock of cash of provincial government are the cash receipts from operating activities R191 310 million; cash payments for operating activities R178 002 million; purchases of non-financial assets R10 988 million; and sales of non-financial assets R74 million.
