The net change in the stock of cash from the national revenue fund and donor funds amounted to R10 984 million for the 2004/2005 fiscal year.

The major contributors to the amount of R10 984 of net change in the stock of cash of national government are the cash receipts from operating activities (R358 651 million); cash payments for operating activities (R386 090 million); purchases of non-financial assets (R6 665 million); sales of non-financial assets (R25 million); net acquisition of financial assets other than cash (R98 million); and net incurrence of liabilities (R45 161 million).
