Acid test ratio
Municipalities throughout the country recorded the acid test ratio of 1,8:1 during each of the years 2005 and 2006.
Current ratio
The current ratio of municipalities was 1,9:1 in the 2005 financial year and 1,8:1 in the 2006 financial year.
Consolidated financial position of the municipalities
Net assets and Non-current assets were the major contributors to the financial position of municipalities as at 30 June 2006.
