Electricity

North West showed the highest increase in the purchases of electricity with 23,3%, followed by Mpumalanga with 15,7%. Limpopo showed the lowest increase with 7,3%. The overall purchases of electricity increased by 12,5%.

Water

There was an increase of 17,1% in the overall purchases of water. Western Cape reflected the highest increase of 37,5% followed by Free State with 19,9%, and Gauteng with 18,3%. The lowest increase may be seen in Eastern Cape with 5,5% as well as Northern Cape with 8,4%.

Assessment rates

Assessment rates showed a steady increase of 12,0% over the two years in all provinces. Limpopo reflected the highest increase with 21,1%, followed by Mpumalanga with 16,8%. North West was the lowest with 8,6% followed by Western Cape with 9,0%.
