Overview: Statement of sources and uses of cash of extra-budgetary accounts and funds
The net change in the stock of cash from the national and provincial extra-budgetary accounts and funds amounted to an increase of R2 646 million for the 2004/2005 fiscal year.
The major contributors to the amount of R2 646 of the net change in the stock of cash of national and provincial extra-budgetary accounts and funds are cash receipts from operating activities (R57 903 million); cash payments for operating activities (R45 506 million); purchases of non-financial assets (R3 546 million); sales of non-financial assets (R61 million). Net acquisition of financial assets other than cash (R7 099 million) and net incurrence of liabilities (R833 million).
