Key findings: P6410 - Tourist accommodation, March 2013
Measured in nominal terms (current prices), total income for the tourist accommodation industry increased by 15,9% in March 2013 compared with March 2012.
Income from accommodation increased by 13,5% year-on-year in March 2013, the result of a 9,0% increase in the number of stay unit nights sold and a 4,1% increase in the average income per stay unit night sold.
The types of accommodation that recorded the highest year-on-year growth rates in income from accommodation in March 2013 were caravan parks and camping sites (35,8%) and
