Total income for the accommodation industry
Total income for the accommodation industry for the second quarter of 2012 increased by 11,2% compared with the second quarter of 2011. Total income for the accommodation industry in June 2012 increased by 13,4% compared with June 2011.
Income from accommodation
Income from accommodation for the second quarter of 2012 increased by 14,3% compared with the second quarter of 2011. This increase was due to an increase of 8,2% in the number of stay unit nights sold and an increase of 5,6% in the average income per stay unit night sold. Income from accommodation in June 2012 increased by 17,6% compared with June 2011.
Stay units available
The number of stay units available for the second quarter of 2012 increased by 1,8% compared with the second quarter of 2011. The number of stay units available in June 2012 increased by 1,7% compared with June 2011.
Stay unit nights sold
The number of stay unit nights sold for the second quarter of 2012 increased by 8,2% compared with the second quarter of 2011. The number of stay unit nights sold in June 2012 increased by 11,2% compared with June 2011.
