Total income for the accommodation industry for the first quarter of 2012 increased by 13,4% compared with the first quarter of 2011. Total income for the accommodation industry in March 2012 increased by 7,7% compared with March 2011.

Income from accommodation

Income from accommodation for the first quarter of 2012 increased by 15,1% compared with the first quarter of 2011. This increase was due to an increase of 10,3% in the number of stay unit nights sold and an increase of 4,4% in the average income per stay unit night sold. Income from accommodation in March 2012 increased by 8,4% compared with March 2011.

Stay units available

The number of stay units available for the first quarter of 2012 increased by 0,8% compared with the first quarter of 2011. The number of stay units available in March 2012 increased by 0,5% compared with March 2011.

Stay unit nights sold

The number of stay unit nights sold for the first quarter of 2012 increased by 10,3% compared with the first quarter of 2011. The number of stay unit nights sold in March 2012 increased by 7,5% compared with March 2011.
