Total income for the accommodation industry

Total income for the accommodation industry for the fourth quarter of 2011 increased by 13,8% compared with the fourth quarter of 2010. Total income for the accommodation industry in December 2011 increased by 15,8% compared with December 2010 (see Table A and Table 2, page 5).

Income from accommodation

Income from accommodation for the fourth quarter of 2011 increased by 14,8% compared with the fourth quarter of 2010. This increase was due to an increase of 10,8% in the number of stay unit nights sold and an increase of 3,6% in the average income per stay unit night sold. Income from accommodation in December 2011 increased by 18,8% compared with December 2010 (see Table A and Table 2, page 5).

Stay units available

The number of stay units available for the fourth quarter of 2011 decreased by 0,5% compared with the fourth quarter of 2010. The number of stay units available in December 2011 increased by 0,5% compared with December 2010 (see Table A and Table 2, page 5).

Stay unit nights sold

The number of stay unit nights sold for the fourth quarter of 2011 increased by 10,8% compared with the fourth quarter of 2010. The number of stay unit nights sold in December 2011 increased by 12,5% compared with December 2010.
