Total income for the accommodation industry for the three months ended April 2011 decreased by 1,1% compared with the three months ended April 2010. Total income for the accommodation industry in April 2011 increased by 0,3% compared with April 2010.

Income from accommodation

Income from accommodation for the three months ended April 2011 decreased by 2,2% compared with the three months ended April 2010. This decrease was due to a decrease of 2,2% in the number of stay unit nights sold. The average income per stay unit night sold remained constant during the same period. Income from accommodation in April 2011 increased by 0,6% compared with April 2010.

Stay units available

The number of stay units available for the three months ended April 2011 decreased by 0,8% compared with the three months ended April 2010. The number of stay units available in April 2011 decreased by 1,3% compared with April 2010.

Stay unit nights sold

The number of stay unit nights sold for the three months ended April 2011 decreased by 2,2% compared with the three months ended April 2010. The number of stay unit nights sold in April 2011 increased by 2,3% compared with April 2010.
