Total income for the accommodation industry for the three months ended February 2011 decreased by 2,6% compared with the three months ended February 2010. Total income for the accommodation industry in February 2011 decreased by 3,4% compared with February 2010.

Income from accommodation

Income from accommodation for the three months ended February 2011 decreased by 3,7% compared with the three months ended February 2010. This decrease was due to a decrease of 5,0% in the number of stay unit nights sold. The average income per stay unit night sold increased by 1,4% during the same period. Income from accommodation in February 2011 decreased by 4,8% compared with February 2010.

Stay units available

The number of stay units available for the three months ended February 2011 decreased by 0,4% compared with the three months ended February 2010. The number of stay units available in February 2011 decreased by 0,5% compared with February 2010.

Stay unit nights sold

The number of stay unit nights sold for the three months ended February 2011 decreased by 5,0% compared with the three months ended February 2010. The number of stay unit nights sold in February 2011 decreased by 4,4% compared with February 2010.
