Key findings: P6410 - Tourist accommodation, September 2010
Total income for the accommodation industry
Total income for the accommodation industry for the third quarter of 2010 increased by 10,9% compared with the third quarter of 2009. Total income for the accommodation industry in September 2010 increased by 7,5% compared with September 2009.
Income from accommodation
Income from accommodation for the third quarter of 2010 increased by 14,4% compared with the third quarter of 2009. The average income per stay unit night sold increased by 16,3% during the same period. Income from accommodation in September 2010 increased by 6,9% compared with September 2009.
Stay units available
The number of stay units available for the third quarter of 2010 increased by 4,5% compared with the third quarter of 2009. The number of stay units available in September 2010 increased by 4,8% compared with September 2009.
Stay unit nights sold
The number of stay unit nights sold for the third quarter of 2010 decreased by 1,7% compared with the third quarter of 2009. The number of stay unit nights sold in September 2010 decreased by 0,3% compared with September 2009.
