Total income for the accommodation industry for the three months ended April 2010 increased by 0,9% compared with the three months ended April 2009. Total income for the accommodation industry in April 2010 increased by 4,2% compared with April 2009.

Income from accommodation

Income from accommodation for the three months ended April 2010 increased by 0,5% compared with the three months ended April 2009. This increase was mainly due to an increase of 4,6% in the average income per stay unit night sold during the same period. Income from accommodation in April 2010 increased by 3,0% compared with April 2009.

Stay units available

The number of stay units available for the three months ended April 2010 increased by 2,7% compared with the three months ended April 2009. The number of stay units available in April 2010 increased by 3,2% compared with April 2009.

Stay unit nights sold

The number of stay unit nights sold for the three months ended April 2010 decreased by 3,9% compared with the three months ended April 2009. The number of stay unit nights sold in April 2010 decreased by 1,4% compared with April 2009.
