Total income for the accommodation industry decreases
Total income for the accommodation industry for the three months ended May 2009 decreased by 10,2% compared with the three months ended May 2008. Total income for the accommodation industry in May 2009 decreased by 7,3% compared with May 2008.
Income from accommodation decreases
Income from accommodation for the three months ended May 2009 decreased by 7,4% compared with the three months ended May 2008. This decrease was mainly due to the decrease of 8,7% in stay unit nights sold during the same period. Income from accommodation in May 2009 decreased by 7,8% compared with May 2008.
Stay units available decrease
The number of stay units available for the three months ended May 2009 decreased by 0,7% compared with the three months ended May 2008. The number of stay units available in May 2009 decreased by 2,3% compared with May 2008.
Stay unit nights sold decrease
The number of stay unit nights sold for the three months ended May 2009 decreased by 8,7% compared with the three months ended May 2008. The number of stay unit nights sold in May 2009 decreased by 10,0% compared with May 2008.
