Key findings: P6410 - Tourist accommodation, March 2006
The number of stay unit nights sold during the first quarter of 2006 increased by 0,2% compared to the first quarter of 2005.
However, the number of stay unit nights sold during March 2006 compared to March 2005 decreased by 1,8%. This could partly be attributed to the larger number of holidays in March 2005 compared with March 2006.
The occupancy rate for the first quarter of 2006 compared with the first quarter of 2005 increased by 0,2%.
However, the occupancy rate during March 2006 decreased by 1,5% compared with March 2005.
Income from accommodation in the first quarter of 2006 increased by 9,0% compared with the first quarter of 2005. This increase is partly due to an increase in the
