Key findings: P6343.2 - Motor trade sales, November 2018
Measured in nominal terms (current prices), motor trade sales increased by 3,5% year-on-year in November 2018. Positive annual growth rates were recorded for:
Seasonally adjusted motor trade sales increased by 0,2% in November 2018 compared with October 2018. This followed month-on-month changes of 1,8% in October 2018 and -0,6% in September 2018.
In the three months ended November 2018, seasonally adjusted motor trade sales increased by 1,8% compared with the previous three months.
Motor trade sales increased by 3,7% in the three months ended November 2018 compared with the three months ended November 2017. The main contributor was fuel sales (20,1% and contributing 5,2 percentage points).
