Actual motor trade sales estimates

Measured in nominal terms (current prices), motor trade sales increased by 3,9% year-on-year in June 2017. The largest positive annual growth rates were recorded for new vehicle sales (10,0%) and fuel sales (4,0%).

Seasonally adjusted motor trade sales decreased by 0,3% in June 2017 compared with May 2017. This followed month-on-month changes of 1,7% in May 2017 and -1,9% in April 2017.

In the second quarter of 2017, seasonally adjusted motor trade sales decreased by 0,5% compared with the previous quarter.

Motor trade sales increased by 0,1% in the second quarter of 2017 compared with the second quarter of 2016. The main contributor was fuel sales (6,0% and contributing 1,5 percentage points).
