Key findings: P6343.2 - Motor trade sales, December 2006
Motor trade sales for the fourth quarter of 2006 increased by 12,6% compared with the fourth quarter of 2005. The corresponding growth rate for the fourth quarter of 2005 compared with the fourth quarter of 2004 was 14,2%.
Seasonally adjusted motor trade sales for the fourth quarter of 2006 decreased by 0,5% compared with the third quarter of 2006.
Motor trade sales for December 2006 increased by 10,9% compared with the motor trade sales for December 2005.
Motor trade sales for the year 2006 increased by 14,7% compared with the motor trade sales for the year 2005. The 14,7% growth is lower than the 16,0% reported for the corresponding period in 2005.
