Key findings: P6242.1 - Retail trade sales, August 2007

Retail trade sales at constant (2000) prices, for the three months up to August 2007, showed an increase of 6,4% compared with the three months up to August 2006. Similarly, retail trade sales at constant (2000) prices, for the first eight months of 2007, increased by 7,9% compared with the first eight months of 2006. This is lower than the 9,4% growth for the first eight months of 2006 compared with the corresponding eight months of 2005.

Retail trade sales at constant (2000) prices, for August 2007, showed an increase of 6,9% compared with August 2006. 

Retail trade sales at current prices, for the three months up to August 2007, increased by 13,2% compared with the three months up to August 2006. Furthermore, retail trade sales at current prices, for August 2007, increased by 13,3% compared with August 2006. The corresponding growth rate for August 2006 was 15,8%.
