Retail trade sales show an increase in real terms

Retail trade sales at constant (2000) prices, for the three months up to February 2007, showed an increase of 8,0% compared with the three months up to February 2006. Similarly, retail trade sales at constant (2000) prices, for the first two months of 2007, showed an increase of 8,9% compared with the first two months of 2006.

Retail trade sales at constant (2000) prices, for February 2007, increased by 8,0% compared with February 2006. The corresponding growth rate for February 2006 was 10,3%.

Retail trade sales at current prices, for the three months up to February 2007, increased by 13,6% compared with the three months up to February 2006. Furthermore, retail trade sales at current prices, for February 2007, increased by 13,2% compared with February 2006. The corresponding growth rate for February 2006 was 16,0%.
