Sales at constant 2015 prices: results for November 2019

Measured in real terms (constant 2015 prices), wholesale trade sales decreased by 3,7% in November 2019 compared with November 2018.

Seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales decreased by 1,5% in November 2019 compared with October 2019. This followed month-on-month changes of 0,8% in October 2019 and 1,6% in September 2019.

In the three months ended November 2019, seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales decreased by 0,4% compared with the previous three months.

Sales at current prices: results for November 2019

Measured in nominal terms (current prices), wholesale trade sales decreased by 2,7% in November 2019 compared with November 2018. The main contributor to this decrease was dealers in machinery, equipment and supplies (-13,3% and contributing -1,9 percentage points).

Wholesale trade sales decreased by 1,0% in the three months ended November 2019 compared with the three months ended November 2018. The main contributor to this decrease was dealers in solid, liquid and gaseous fuels and related products (-9,6% and contributing -2,5 percentage points).
