Sales at constant 2015 prices: results for September 2017
Measured in real terms (constant 2015 prices), wholesale trade sales decreased by 10,1% in September 2017 compared with September 2016.
Seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales decreased by 6,1% in September 2017 compared with August 2017. This followed month-on-month changes of -2,0% in August 2017 and 0,9% in July 2017.
In the third quarter of 2017, seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales decreased by 3,0% compared with the previous quarter.
Sales at current prices: results for September 2017
Measured in nominal terms (current prices), wholesale trade sales decreased by 4,9% in September 2017 compared with September 2016. The main contributor to this decrease was dealers in agricultural raw materials and livestock (-29,3% and contributing -2,8 percentage points).
Wholesale trade sales decreased by 0,8% in the third quarter of 2017 compared with the third quarter of 2016. The main contributor to this decrease was dealers in agricultural raw materials and livestock (-17,5% and contributing -1,7 percentage points).
