Sales at constant 2012 prices: results for July 2017

Measured in real terms (constant 2012 prices), wholesale trade sales decreased by 1,1% in July 2017 compared with July 2016.

Seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales increased by 0,6% in July 2017 compared with June 2017. This followed month-on-month changes of 2,2% in June 2017 and -3,7% in May 2017.
 
In the three months ended July 2017, seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales increased by 1,3% compared with the previous three months.

Sales at current prices: results for July 2017

Measured in nominal terms (current prices), wholesale trade sales increased by 1,2% in July 2017 compared with July 2016. The main positive contributor to this increase was dealers in food, beverages and tobacco (6,8% and contributing 1,0 percentage point).

Wholesale trade sales increased by 1,3% in the three months ended July 2017 compared with the three months ended July 2016. The main contributor to this increase was dealers in food, beverages and tobacco (7,9% and contributing 1,2 percentage points).
