Wholesale trade sales in real terms

Wholesale trade sales, at constant 2000 prices, for the third quarter of 2011 increased by 7,0% compared with the third quarter of 2010, while sales for the same period in 2010 increased by 5,3%. Seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales for the third quarter of 2011 increased by 1,9% compared with the second quarter of 2011.

Wholesale trade sales, at constant 2000 prices, for September 2011 increased by 9,5% compared with September 2010.

Wholesale trade sales in nominal terms

Wholesale trade sales, at current prices, for the third quarter of 2011 increased by 15,3% compared with the third quarter of 2010. The major contributor to this increase was dealers in solid, liquid and gaseous fuels and related products (33,7% and contributing 6,6 percentage points), followed by dealers in agricultural raw materials and livestock (39,8% and contributing 1,9 percentage points) and dealers in machinery, equipment and supplies (11,4% and contributing 1,8 percentage points).

Wholesale trade sales, at current prices, for September 2011 increased by 19,4% compared with September 2010, while sales for the corresponding period in 2010 increased by 12,9%.
