Key findings: P6141.2 - Wholesale trade sales, September 2006
Wholesale trade sales increase in real terms
Wholesale trade sales, at constant (2000) prices, for the third quarter of 2006 increased by 6,8% compared with the third quarter of 2005. Seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales, at constant (2000) prices, for the third quarter of 2006 increased by 3,8% compared with the second quarter.
Wholesale trade sales, at constant (2000) prices, for September 2006 increased by 4,2% compared with September 2005.
Wholesale trade sales at constant (2000) prices, for January to September 2006, increased by 7,0% compared with the same period in 2005. The 7,0% increase is higher than the 3,6% growth for the same period in 2005.
Wholesale trade sales increase at current prices
Wholesale trade sales, at current prices, for the third quarter of 2006 increased by 16,4% compared with the third quarter of 2005. The 16,4% increase is higher than the 8,1% growth for the same period in 2005.
