Wholesale trade sales increase in real terms

Wholesale trade sales, at constant (2000) prices, for the three months ending August 2006 increased by 7,1% compared with the three months ending August 2005. This is higher than the 1,6% reported for the same period in the previous year.

Seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales, at constant (2000) prices, for the three months ending August 2006 increased by 2,4% compared with the previous three months.

Wholesale trade sales, at constant (2000) prices, for August 2006 increased by 7,7% compared with August 2005.

Wholesale trade sales increase at current prices Wholesale trade sales, at current prices, for the three months up to August 2006 increased by 16,0% compared with the three months up to August 2005. The 16,0% increase is higher than the 5,3% growth for the same period in 2005.
