Key findings: P5041.1 - Selected building statistics of the private sector as reported by local government institutions, October 2021
The
value of recorded building plans passed (at current prices) increased by 51,5%
(R30 351,9 million) during January to October 2021 compared with January
to October 2020. Increases were recorded for residential buildings (59,3% or
R18 401,8 million), additions and alterations (50,4% or R8 300,5 million) and
non-residential buildings (31,8% or R3 649,5 million).
