The real value of recorded building plans passed (at constant 2010 prices) increased by 4,7% (R2 627,3 million) year-on-year during January to September 2015. Increases were recorded for residential buildings (7,4% or R1 994,2 million), non-residential buildings (2,9% or R411,6 million) and additions and alterations (1,5% or R221,5 million). The real value of buildings reported as completed (at constant 2010 prices) increased by 4,8% (R1 454,9 million) year-on-year during January to September 2015. Residential buildings rose by 12,8% (R2 069,3 million).
