Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, August 2020
Electricity
generation (production) decreased by 2,4% year-on-year in August 2020.
Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 1,7% in August 2020
compared with July 2020. This followed month-on-month changes of 1,2% in July
2020 and 7,8% in June 2020. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation
increased by 9,2% in the three months ended August 2020 compared with the
previous three months.
Electricity distribution
(consumption) decreased by 0,4% year-on-year in August 2020. Seasonally
adjusted electricity distribution increased by 2,0% month-on-month in August
2020, following month-on-month changes of 2,0% in July 2020 and 8,3% in June
2020. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 10,8% in the
three months ended August 2020 compared with the previous three months.
