Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, October 2019
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 1,9% year-on-year in October 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 1,0% in October 2019 compared with September 2019. This followed month-on-month changes of 2,3% in September 2019 and -1,8% in August 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 1,3% in the three months ended October 2019 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 2,1% year-on-year in October 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 0,4% month-on-month in October 2019, following month-on-month changes of 3,3% in September 2019 and -2,5% in August 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 1,1% in the three months ended October 2019 compared with the previous three months.
